Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026

In short

Hajime does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Everything that happens in the app stays on your device.

What exactly we don't collect

  • We don't collect your name, email, phone number or any contact details.
  • We don't use analytics, event tracking or advertising identifiers.
  • We don't send anything to servers — the app works fully offline.
  • We don't use cookies (there simply aren't any, because there's no web component).
  • We don't require you to create an account.

App data

All dictionary terms ship with the app as local files. Quiz progress exists only within the current session — nothing is saved once you leave a quiz.

The app requests no system permissions whatsoever (camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, notifications).

Third-party services

Hajime uses no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting or any other purpose. The only “external” channel is iOS's built-in app-update mechanism through the App Store, operated by Apple under its own policy.

Children

The app is not aimed exclusively at children, but it's completely safe for any age: it collects no data and contains no ads or external links to third parties.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date. We won't send any in-app notifications, since there's no channel for them.
